Diana is a bilingual attorney with more than 15 years of experience representing individuals, businesses, municipalities, and other organizations in complex litigation, real estate, and business matters. Among other areas, her litigation practice has encompassed complex commercial litigation, contract disputes, real estate litigation, professional malpractice, premises liability and negligent security, personal injury, maritime matters, and insurance-related claims. She has litigated extensively in both Florida state and federal courts, with substantial experience in discovery, depositions, hearings, evidentiary proceedings, mediation, arbitration, trial, and federal appellate practice. Her extensive litigation experience includes hundreds of negotiated settlements, depositions, and court appearances, together with substantial trial and appellate experience, including a PCA decision in federal appellate practice.

 

Real estate has been a significant focus of her practice, encompassing both transactional and litigation matters. Over the past two decades, she has supervised thousands of real estate transactions from inception through closing and brings a practical, risk-focused perspective to complex legal and business issues. Her experience also includes corporate risk management, claims evaluation, insurance matters, policy implementation, and advising clients on strategies designed to anticipate and mitigate potential disputes. Diana was selected to the Florida Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for five consecutive years from 2017 through 2021. She subsequently transitioned to in-house legal practice, where she was no longer eligible for consideration under Super Lawyers' selection criteria.
